I’m a fan of this Albany desk for its mix of open shelving, cupboard space and raised monitor platform - it keeps cables and clutter neatly tucked away. The beech-and-white finish slots straight into Scandinavian-inspired or contemporary schemes, and the light tones help smaller rooms feel more open.
Styling tip: invest in simple wire clips or a small cable tray under the top shelf to hide leads, then balance the look with a slim desk lamp and one or two low-profile accessories - for example a monochrome pen pot or a small plant on the raised shelf. Use matching white boxes on the lower cubbies to keep paperwork out of sight but within easy reach.
