"The Alp collection is the work of the Spanish design duo, Ramos & Bassols. The designers wanted to highlight the rigorous, graphic subtlety of the lines to immediately give an impression of authenticity. This table is made from FSC-certified solid oak: a durable, natural material. The sober, natural expression of the wood is highlighted by clean, architectural contours, artisanal details and a raw, delicate, conceptual expression. A straightforward yet refined conceptual form that will appeal to even the most demanding people. Inspired by the tranquillity of nature, designers Ramos & Bassols like to combine beautiful details with functionality. They designed the Alp collection with a desire to combine subtle details and genuine craftsmanship: "Alp is a series of tables and benches that showcase the elegance and serenity of subtly shaped natural wood with architectural lines and a serene, warm expression. Simple yet at the same time strict and refined. Our products look very attractive to us. They have a sober appearance with a refined balance in terms of form. We like to pay special attention to detail, as the quality of a product is often judged by the importance given to its details. We set out to create products with clean lines, with a warm, attractive allure. When we create, our desire is to design irresistible products we would love to have in our own home. We focus on architecture and craftsmanship. These two elements inspire us more than current trends. ‘’".
