Our Stylist Says
The Alma soft velvet bed is a versatile piece that brings a touch of understated luxury to any bedroom. Its cream hue makes it easy to integrate into a variety of colour schemes, from modern minimalist to more classic, cosy interiors. I love how the plush velvet finish adds subtle texture without overpowering the space, making it suitable for both contemporary and traditional settings. For styling, consider pairing it with crisp, neutral bedding and a few decorative cushions for a clean, refined look, or introduce rich textures and layered linens for a more inviting feel. Its understated design also allows you to experiment with statement lighting, like a bold pendant or bedside lamps, to add personal flair. Overall, it’s a practical yet stylish choice that lifts the look of a bedroom while remaining adaptable to different decorating styles.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
