Allison Pearce captures a cluster of slender English elms on the cusp of autumn in an icy dawn in 'Copper Frost'. A serene yet stirring symphony of subtle hues. This canvas print is framed, ready to hang on your wall. Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, artist Allison Pearce is a passionate painter whose works have a contemporary style. Before she became an artist, Allison held a few jobs including at a design firm, bank and an art gallery. To become an artist, Allison studied at the Art Institute of Reykjavik to earn her degree. Most of her pieces include nature landscapes and flowers and have an impressionistic feel. Allison now lives in Toronto, Canada where she continues to create artwork. She believes that her home in Canada has an effect on the art she creates. "Inspiration comes from everywhere, even from places that you don't expect," she says. John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
