Description
Alku cushion cover 40x40 cm from Finnish brand Marimekko has an exciting printed pattern with bean-like shapes, the inspiration for which comes from seeds which grow into striking flowers. The Alku cushion cover is made from undyed cotton, with a high-contrast seam and hidden zip around the edges. Combine this cushion cover with a cushion insert and put it on your sofa or bed to add a nice bit of colour to your home.
Our Stylist Says
I love this dark green cushion cover because it adds a sophisticated yet versatile touch to any sofa or bed setting. Its rich colour works particularly well in neutral or earthy interiors, providing a warm contrast without overwhelming the space. For styling, I recommend pairing it with natural textures like linen or wool for a relaxed vibe, or mixing it with lighter cushions to create visual interest. It's an easy way to introduce colour and depth to your living room or bedroom, and the understated pattern keeps it modern and easy to coordinate with other patterns or solid colours.
