The curved silhouette of the Aline ottoman is wrapped in velvet in a range of bespoke colours to mirror the social seating areas seen in Soho House Stockholm.

I’m a fan of this chocolate-velvet ottoman because its low, rounded form adds softness without overpowering a room, and the deep brown works as a neutral rather than a focal colour. It’s especially at home in contemporary or Scandi-inspired interiors - think pale timber floors, clean lines and pared-back accessories - but it can also warm up a minimalist monochrome scheme or contrast nicely with jewel-toned sofas.
For styling, use it as an informal coffee table by topping it with a shallow tray for drinks and magazines, or cluster it alongside a matching pouffe for extra seating when you have guests. It’s light enough to move around, so you can switch it between living room, bedroom or dressing area to suit your needs. A simple sheepskin draped over one edge and a brass tray will add just the right hint of texture and shine.
