Our Stylist Says
I love the Alice Springs Tall Shoe Cabinet for its sleek, modern look and practical push-open doors, making it a seamless addition to contemporary or industrial-inspired interiors. Its deep night blue finish adds colour without overwhelming, making it a versatile piece for hallways or mudrooms. It works particularly well in spaces that benefit from clean lines and minimal fuss, complementing neutral colour schemes or contrasting with warm woods or textured walls. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a statement mirror or a small plant on top for a balanced look, and placing it near a bench or seating area to make slipping shoes on and off effortless. Its size and design make it a functional yet stylish storage solution for organising footwear neatly out of sight.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
