Our Stylist Says
I really like the Alice Springs tall narrow bookcase for its sleek and understated design, making it ideal for smaller or more minimalist interiors. The taupe and sage green finish adds a subtle pops of colour without overwhelming the space, making it versatile across both contemporary and transitional styles. It works well in living rooms, home offices, or even bedrooms where space is limited but you still want to keep your books and accessories organised. A practical styling tip is to mix books with decorative items or small plants to give it a personalised, lived-in look. Its narrow profile makes it perfect for tight spots, and you can layer items on the shelves for visual interest without cluttering.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
