Our Stylist Says
The Alice Springs chest offers a fresh, modern update to traditional storage, with its sage green hue and butter yellow accents adding a touch of warmth and personality. I love how its push-open drawers provide a sleek, handleless look, making it ideal for minimalist interiors or contemporary schemes. It works well in both living spaces and bedrooms, especially if you’re aiming for a soft, calming colour palette or want to introduce a subtle pop of colour. Styling tips include pairing it with neutral textiles and natural materials to highlight its colours, or layering with decorative vases and artwork to create a curated, inviting vibe. Its compact size makes it versatile for smaller rooms or as an additional storage piece without overwhelming the space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
