I’m a fan of this tall oak sideboard for its clean, pared-back lines and the warmth of the natural veneer - it never feels over-busy but still has plenty of character. The raised plinth gives it a light, airy feel, so it works equally well in a Scandi-influenced living room, a pared-back urban apartment or a mid-century dining space.
To style it, keep the top clutter-free: a low ceramic lamp, a trio of coffee-table books and a simple glass vase with fresh foliage or dried grasses. Inside, use woven baskets or slim trays to corral linens, chargers or board games. If you’re using it in a hallway, hang a round mirror above and leave room for a small bench or pair of stools beside it.
