I’m a fan of this oak chest for its clean lines and practical footprint - at 60×120 cm it slips easily into a bedroom, hallway or snug living space. The natural wood veneer brings warmth without overwhelming a scheme, making it equally at home in Scandi-inspired, modern-minimal or muted-colour palettes.
For styling, keep accessories simple: a round mirror above and a pair of ceramic vases or a small lamp on top will balance the height. Tuck a potted plant at one side or a stack of books at the other for a lived-in feel. It also layers well against painted walls or darker accent pieces, so don’t be afraid to mix finishes.
