Description
Bold and retro this dining bench pairs perfectly with our matching dining table for a completely cool 70s inspired interior. Richly grained Mango wood has been darkly stained to enhance the natural properties of the wood, but it’s the striking U shaped carved legs of this bench that really catch your eye. Coordinating further pieces also available.

I’m a big fan of the Alf bench for anyone looking to inject character without over-complication. Its sculptural U-shaped legs and rich, dark wood finish make it equally at home in a mid-century setting or a pared-back contemporary kitchen, and the generous plank seat means it’s as practical as it is stylish.
To style it, try placing a slim, textured runner or a couple of muted linen cushions to soften the look and bring in a hint of colour. It works well opposite a mix of chairs (think metal-framed or woven seats) and really lifts a neutral rug - just leave enough breathing space around it so the distinctive leg shape can do all the talking.
