I’m a fan of the Alfred unit for its low-profile silhouette and subtle arch detailing - it’s solid without feeling bulky. The dark, ash-effect finish and rounded bun feet give it a slightly vintage edge but it still sits comfortably in modern, Scandi or even industrial-leaning interiors.
Practical styling is straightforward: keep the top clear except for a couple of curated objects (a sculptural vase or a stack of coffee-table books) and let the central shelf house your AV box or a single display piece. Tuck remotes and cables behind the doors to maintain a clean look, and if you’d like to soften the tone, pair it with a cream rug or light-wood side table.
