Description

Minimalist outdoor lighting styles for your home with the Alf Outdoor Round Eyelid Bulkhead Wall Light. This wall light is extra durable against outdoor weather conditions and corrosion due to its IP65 rating, making for long lasting illumination. It also comes in a sleek black finish with an eyelid design for a contrasting look with the white opal shade, allowing bright and practical illumination to be projected outwards.

Our Stylist Says

I love this outdoor wall light for its sleek, minimal design and robust build. The classic black finish ensures it works well with contemporary, industrial, or even traditional exteriors, adding a touch of understated sophistication. It’s ideal for illuminating doorways, patios, or garden paths without overwhelming the setting. When styling, consider pairing it with other black or neutral outdoor fixtures for a cohesive look, and position it thoughtfully to avoid glare while providing functional lighting. Its round shape and eyelid detail give it a modern edge, making it versatile enough to complement a range of outdoor spaces while offering durable performance in all weather conditions.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
