The lacquering process is labour and time intensive, with multiple layers of lacquer applied and dried under UV light, for a clean finish that is highly durable. Hairline marks are a natural feature of this furniture's high gloss finish. Polyurethane and like surfaces can reveal the polishing process in the form of small scratches.
