I’m a fan of this green tub chair for its compact shape and muted sage tone - it’s an easy way to introduce colour without overwhelming a space. The clean lines and solid beech legs mean it works equally well in a Scandi-inspired living room, a modern home office or even a cosy reading corner in a bedroom. To style, pair it with a natural-fibre rug and a slimline side table in light oak, then soften the look with a small textured cushion in a complementary shade (think chalky pink or warm terracotta). If you’re placing it against a plain wall, hang a piece of simple black-frame art just above to balance the chair’s height and keep the overall feel fresh and uncluttered.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
