Description
The prettiest of writing desks, our Albertine is inspired by the rattan furniture found in the Ladies Tea Room of New York’s Prince George Hotel in the 1900s. It borrows from the same mix of English, Parisian and Eastern influences which result in something quaint and delicate. The charming shape is handmade by skilled craftspeople using complex techniques to form the crosshatch-style open weave. A pretty braid detail runs up the edge and around the finials.
