Description
The Albany shoe cabinet offers a sleek and functional storage solution for modern spaces
Our Stylist Says
I love this shoe cabinet’s simple, clean-lined design - it’s perfect for creating a clutter-free, organised entryway or porch area. Its oak finish adds warmth and texture, making it versatile enough to work well in both modern and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. A great styling tip is to keep the top surface minimal with a couple of decorative accessories or a tray for keys, while storing shoes behind the flip-down door to keep everything tidy. Pair it with light or neutral colours for a calming feel, or contrasting darker shades for a more contemporary look. This piece is practical and unobtrusive, ideal for those who want functional storage without sacrificing style.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
