Description
The iconic AJ Floor Lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1957 for Copenhagen's SAS Royal Hotel and is manufactured today by Louis Poulsen. Crafted from spun steel and moulded zinc, two geometric shapes allow the shade to direct light exactly where needed. The inside of the shade is painted white for soft, comfortable light and the angle is fully adjustable to the user's needs. The sculptural lamp is produced by Louis Poulsen, a Danish lighting manufacturer founded in 1874. Through collaborations with renowned designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Louis Poulsen has established itself as one of the leading architectural lighting producers in the world. Requires: 1x max 60W E27 bulb (not included).View our entire range of furniture and lighting from Arne Jacobsen here.
Our Stylist Says
I love this white floor lamp for its clean, minimalist design that effortlessly complements a range of interiors. Its understated aesthetic makes it versatile, ideal for modern, Scandinavian, or even pared-back industrial spaces. Practical styling tips include positioning it next to a cosy reading corner or beside a neutral sofa to add functionality without clutter. Its slender profile is great for smaller rooms or corners where space is limited, and the white finish ensures it remains a subtle, sophisticated addition rather than a focal point. Overall, this lamp offers a sleek and versatile lighting solution that balances form and function seamlessly.
