Description
The Bouroullec brothers are continuing their floral exploration. Both graphic and fun, the AIM Small lamp pays homage to the power lead which becomes the key aesthetic part of the lamp. The cable appears to grow and develop like a creeper. This lamp hangs from the ceiling using the fixing hook, supplied. It has a long electrical cable (9 metres) which ends in the plug. It can be simply plugged in to a floor socket and therefore there is no need for complicated electricals in the ceiling. By sliding the cable, you can easily vary the height of the diffuser to meet all of your lighting needs. The duo of designers explains: "We have developed the proposition for a new type of lamp that fits naturally into space - like a plant - thanks to the long cable which freely facilitates the orientation and height of the light. ‘’By reducing this light to the very essence of what a pendant is - a cable and a light diffuser - the Bouroullecs bring life, poetically, to an unusual lamp with its strong graphic impact. The AIM lamp is the industrial version of the “Lianes” lamps originally created for the Kreo gallery in Paris in 2010.
