The Bouroullec brothers are continuing their floral exploration. Both stylish and fun, the AIM light pays homage to the power lead which becomes the key aesthetical part of the lamp. The cable appears to grow and develop like a creeper. The lamp hangs from the ceiling thanks to the fixing bracket provided. It has a long electrical cable (9 metres) which ends in the plug. It can be simply plugged in to a floor socket and therefore there is no need for complicated electricals in the ceiling. By sliding the cable, you can easily vary the height of the diffuser to meet all of your lighting needs. The duo of designers explains: “We elaborated the proposal for a new type of lamp which naturally fits into the space – as a plant – thanks to a long cable which easily facilitates handling and the height of the light. “”By reducing the light to the essence itself – the very purpose of a lamp – a cable and light, the Bouroullec brothers have poetically given life to an unusual lamp with a strong style. The AIM lamp is the industrial version of the “Lianes” lamps originally created for the Kreo gallery in Paris in 2010”.
