Description

Pleasingly simple in pattern, the Agnes is also exceedingly practical in design. Its diamond print is complemented by a wavy stripe at its base which adds dimension and lends it its name – the village of St Agnes is a popular surfing spot on the north coast of Cornwall. Made from mango wood and upholstered in a printed cotton dhurrie, Agnes can be used as an extra surface, a seat or as storage. Its lid opens on brass hinges that match the decorative studs and handles, and will stay open when lifted.

Our Stylist Says

I love this footstool for its clean, monochrome look that can easily anchor a variety of interiors. Its neutral tone and simple pattern make it versatile enough to work well in both traditional and contemporary schemes, whether as an extra seat, a place to rest your feet, or even a makeshift side table with a tray on top. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a plush armchair for a cosy reading nook or placing it in front of a sofa to create a layered, inviting seating area. Its understated elegance means it can blend seamlessly into more eclectic spaces by adding textural contrast, or it can be a quiet complement in minimalist environments.
