Description
Enhance your wall space with the streamlined Adnet mirror by Jacques Adnet. One of the foremost designers of mid-century French modernism, Jacques Adnet was celebrated for his avant-garde style, innovative design and unusual mix of luxurious materials such as integrating metal, glass and leather. Designed in 1946, the Adnet mirror perfectly exemplifies his aesthetic, which was inspired by the work he was doing at that time for Hermés. The simplicity of the mirror - a single circle of glass, hung by a durable leather strap - is balanced by the deep colour of the leather, making it a modern design that will complement an array of interior schemes. The leather, produced and hand-stitched in Italy, is tanned and stained by artisan craftspeople using vegetable tannins, and this process is entirely natural and environmentally-friendly.
Our Stylist Says
I love this small black wall mirror for its sleek, contemporary look that works well in a variety of interiors, from modern to industrial styles. Its compact size makes it perfect for entryways, bathrooms, or above a console table, adding both depth and function without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include hanging it at eye level in narrow hallways to create a sense of openness or grouping it with other mirrors or art for a curated gallery wall. Given its shape and finish, it pairs beautifully with minimalist furniture or darker colour schemes, adding a touch of sophistication yet maintaining a versatile, understated appeal.
