I’m a big fan of this star mirror for its blend of fun and function - the acrylic surface is shatter-safe, lightweight and easy to hang, while the silver edging adds a subtle touch of shine. It works particularly well in children’s bedrooms and nurseries, but you could also pop it into a Scandi-inspired hallway or a minimalist bathroom to introduce a playful shape without overwhelming the scheme. Styling tip: position it at a child’s eye-level and group it with soft pastels or neutral textiles to keep the look cosy. On a nursery wall you could flank it with framed prints or a string of fairy lights; in an adult space try a small cluster of mirrors in varying shapes for a contemporary gallery feel.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
