Our Stylist Says

I love this duvet in the lavender and ochre wash linen; it offers a fresh yet slightly muted colour palette that works beautifully in both modern and more traditional interiors. Its washed linen texture adds an effortless, laid-back feel while maintaining a touch of sophistication. It’s versatile enough to pair with neutral shades for a calm, understated look or with richer colours for a more eclectic vibe. Practical styling tips include layering with complementary cushions in softer lilacs or warm rust tones, and adding a cosy throw for extra texture. In terms of interiors, it's ideal in bedrooms aiming for a relaxed, beach house aesthetic or a pared-back, contemporary space. The key is to keep accessories simple to let the duvet’s natural tone and subtle colouring shine through.

A Legacy of French Fashion

La Redoute has been around for 180 years. It started as a place that made wool products and grew into a popular online store for home and fashion items from France.

They've always tried to bring the unique French style to everyone and have changed with the times, especially in understanding the changing roles of women. For them, it's not just about selling products; it's about celebrating the art of everyday living and the quintessential French "je ne sais quoi".

Sustainability and Environmental Consciousness

La Redoute's commitment to the environment and sustainability is unwavering. They have taken commendable steps like joining the Better Cotton Initiative and ensuring their paper stock comes from sustainably-managed forests.

As a proud member of the Fur Free Retailer Program, they stand against the use of real fur and certain other materials, showcasing their concern for animal well-being.

Their transportation choices, too, echo their eco-conscious ethos. By using means like barges and trains, they actively reduce CO2 emissions, highlighting their drive to make choices beneficial for the planet.

They take pride in being accessible to all, with their website catering to both the hearing and visually impaired. Moreover, La Redoute's dedication to social causes is evident in their support for equal opportunities, their stand against violence towards women through partnerships like Solfa, and their endeavours to empower employees, fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship.
