Our Stylist Says
I love how the abstract velvet design adds a touch of sophistication and texture to any space. The charcoal black colour makes it versatile, seamlessly fitting into both modern and traditional interiors, especially those with darker or neutral colour schemes. It works particularly well in contemporary homes with sleek, minimalist decor, or in cosy country cottages seeking a bit of visual interest. For styling tips, I’d recommend pairing it with plush fabrics or adding it to a statement chair or window seat to create a cosy, layered look. Its understated elegance means it can be both functional and stylish, helping to insulate drafty doors while enhancing the overall aesthetic during colder months.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
