I’m a big fan of this rustic oak chest - its warm, reclaimed-look panels and slim metal legs give it character without feeling heavy. It slots straight into industrial, modern farmhouse or Scandi-inspired schemes, adding texture and a touch of vintage charm.
Styling-wise, use it as an entry console or bedroom storage. Keep the top clear save for a round mirror hung above, a low vase of fresh greenery and a couple of books to ground the look. If you need extra display or tuck-away space, add a slim tray on one side and a small lamp on the other to balance form and function.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
