I’m a fan of this rustic bedside table because its mix of oak-effect wood and slim black metal frame brings both warmth and structure without feeling bulky. It suits industrial, Scandinavian or modern farmhouse schemes, pairing neatly with neutral bedding, textured throws and black-iron accents. For styling, keep the top surface clear with a small lamp and a potted plant or a couple of framed photos, use the drawer for chargers or journals, and organise books or a woven basket on the lower shelf to maintain a tidy, lived-in look.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
