I’m a fan of this anthracite shaggy for a child’s bedroom or playroom because its deep, 5 cm pile feels soft under little feet and helps to muffle noise. The dark grey tone works equally well against bright, primary-coloured walls or more muted, Scandi-inspired schemes.
Styling tip: anchor a low bookcase or floor-level toy storage to one end and layer a couple of oversized, washable floor cushions for reading corners. Its dense pile is easy to vacuum and spot-clean, so it stays looking fresh even under daily wear and tear.
