Description
Reissue of the legendary and timeless Butterfly armchair. Created in 1938 by architect-designers Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy, Juan Kurchan and Antonio Bonet, Butterfly has made it through all times and styles, and become a classic in our collective memory. A true icon that has figured in permanent collections in Moma since 1944. AA Butterfly armchair features a lacquered steel frame and linen seat, and subtly joins form and function in an elegant, minimalist and effective way. The design is inspired by the French Modern Movement which is illustrated by Le Corbusier’s work: extreme simplicity, geometric and functional lines, use of steel. AA Butterfly just invites you to relax and is thus ideal for long discussions in indoor or outdoor relaxation areas (UV- and weather-resistant linen). The flexibility of the coating and the enveloping form will give you maximum comfort! The cover is removable; you can buy more covers separately and change the look of your chair in the twinkling of an eye!.
