Description
Specially curated for Helsinki's National Pensions Institute building, the A333 'Turnip' Pendant Light was designed by Alvar Aalto in the 1950s. Named after its distinctive organic shape, the light comprises a powder-coated steel shade and lacquered steel ring, its circular recesses emphasising its rounded form while distributing a warm glow. Alvar Aalto was one of the founding members of Finnish manufacturer Artek and embraced strong individuality with a focus on designing predominantly for humanity, creating functional and dynamic pieces for all to enjoy. Requires: 1x max. 12W E27 bulb (not included).Care instructions: Use a soft cloth, dampened with water and soap, or mild cleanser if needed for resistant dirt; do not use alcohol or other solvents.
