I’m a fan of this rustic coffee table for its clean lines and solid timber finish - it adds warmth without feeling bulky. At just under a metre long, it works well in smaller living rooms or as a slim console behind a sofa.
Styling-wise, group a low tray with a couple of ceramics and a small plant on one side, and balance it with a neat stack of books or magazines at the other. Its simple silhouette suits farmhouse, industrial and Scandi-inspired schemes, and you can easily swap accessories seasonally to keep the look fresh.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
