Description

Expertly designed by award-winning Shanghai-based design collaborative, neri & hu, the 784 Solo Desk in brass and oxidised oak is versatile furniture, reimagined. Crafted by De La Espada, the 784 Solo Desk has an oxidised oak body that would complement a modern interior. Perfectly suited to modern needs, the desk features two suspended bars crafted from brass and wood, alongside a leather-lined tray that is perfect for storing precious objects, as well as three concealed drawers and a table top compartment. Award-winning design duo neri & hu reinterprets classic furniture forms from different periods over design history, configuring beautiful materials into minimalist, contemporary pieces that make the perfect enhancement to modern spaces.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the sleek blend of brass and oxidised oak in this desk-it's a great statement piece that combines industrial and natural elements. It works particularly well in modern or mid-century interiors, adding warmth and a subtle touch of sophistication to a home office or study space. When styling it, keep accessories minimal to let the desk shine, but consider pairing with an upholstered chair or textured accessories in muted tones for contrast. Practical tips include using a desk organiser to keep the surface clear and anchoring the piece with warm lighting or a statement lamp for functionality and ambience. Its understated elegance makes it versatile enough to fit into various schemes, from contemporary to eclectic.
