From award-winning Shanghai-based design collaborative, neri & hu, the 759. L Trunk Cabinet is a mid-century icon, reimagined. Traditionally given as wedding gifts in ancient China, the trunk cabinet carries a history of endurance. The 759. L Trunk Cabinet is equally elegant and contemporary in form, with an exterior crafted from glossy black-lacquered HDF, polished by hand to a mirror finish. The 759. L cabinet's interior is formed from American white oak, finished with white oil, while the legs and frame complement in uncoated brushed brass. The trunk is made up of three internal compartments, each of which features an adjustable shelf, with an additional wooden storage box. Award-winning design duo neri & hu reinterpret classic furniture forms from different periods over design history, configuring beautiful materials into minimalist, contemporary pieces that make the perfect enhancement to modern spaces.
