I’m a fan of this little black bistro table for its clean, compact design and sturdy pedestal base - it keeps sight-lines open in smaller kitchens or snug dining corners. Its matt black finish works equally well in Scandi, industrial or contemporary schemes, especially when you contrast it with a lighter chair or textured rug. Styling-wise, less is more: a single bud vase, a folded linen napkin and a coffee cup sit smartly on the 60cm top. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
