Our Stylist Says
I love this five-tier industrial bookcase for its versatile, robust look that works well in both modern and vintage-inspired interiors. Its open steel frame paired with rich brown shelves makes it perfect for adding character to a living room, office, or even a hallway. It’s a great way to showcase a mix of plants, books, and decorative accessories, bringing a lively yet organised feel. Practical styling tips include arranging taller items at the back and smaller accents at the front for visual interest, plus, to keep it looking tidy, consider using baskets or boxes on some shelves for discreet storage. Its neutral tone and sturdy construction mean it’s adaptable to a range of colour schemes and themes.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
