Designed by Matthew Hilton, the 408 Tavli Dining Table uses generous planes of solid black-oiled European ash to create an elegant form that resonates with simplicity. Named after the backgammon tavli board, the table features decorative joint detailing that resembles its namesake. Expertly crafted in Portugal by De La Espada, the striking table is finished with four tapered legs that give it the perfect contemporary edge. Matthew Hilton is renowned as one of Britain's most esteemed industrial designers and has designed for leading manufacturers across the world, over an illustrious career spanning 30 years. His furniture is held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Geffrye Museum and the Manchester City Art Gallery.
