Description

Contemporary and weather-resistant six-seater garden dining set from 4 Seasons Outdoor. The set includes six Sempre dining armchairs and a round Prado dining table with a Lazy Susan in the centre. The table is made of FSC-certified teak wood with cross-base legs and a slatted top. The airy and organic rope-like design on the chairs is handwoven with a high-quality, durable weave. All the rope materials have a polypropylene base or weave assuring the rope remains taut. The rope contains no hazardous materials and can be fully recycled at the end of its lifetime. The foam-filled seat and two backrest cushions give you comfortable support and the covers are removable and machine-washable for easy cleaning. The legs are made of naturally weather-resistant FSC-certified teak wood. Our Stylist Says

This garden dining set is a versatile piece that seamlessly bridges outdoor and indoor style. I love how the FSC-certified teak lends a natural, warm tone that pairs beautifully with both contemporary and traditional settings. Its sleek silver grey finish adds a touch of sophistication, making it ideal for modern patios or covered outdoor rooms. Styling-wise, it works well if layered with neutral or pastel cushions for added comfort, or dressed with colourful tableware for lively gatherings. In interior schemes, it can be complemented with rattan accents or light wooden furniture to create a relaxed, cohesive look. Practical tips include keeping the teak well-maintained with occasional oiling to preserve its colour, or pairing it with soft textiles for a more cosy, inviting feel in covered dining areas.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
