The set includes six Lisboa dining armchairs and a rectangular Alto table, designed with straight lines, an FSC-certified teak wood slatted top and anthracite aluminium legs that leave plenty of room for your dining chairs. The rope-like design on the chairs is handwoven with 4 Seasons Outdoor's Hularo weave, made from synthetic wicker that's both UV-resistant and water-resistant. This type of wicker is easy to clean, durable and resistant to UV rays, salt water, lotions, chlorine and alcohol. The foam-filled seat cushions give you comfortable support and the covers are removable and machine-washable for easy cleaning. The cross-framed chair legs are made of weather-resistant powder-coated aluminium that's lightweight yet sturdy. Our Stylist Says

This set strikes a great balance between contemporary and natural, making it versatile enough to suit various garden styles. I love its FSC-certified teak, which offers durability and ages beautifully when left to weather naturally, while the anthracite frame adds a modern touch. It works well in both pared-back, minimalist gardens and more lush, plant-filled outdoor spaces. For styling, consider pairing it with neutral or patterned cushions and plenty of greenery to soften the look. Incorporating outdoor lighting or lanterns can make it a inviting spot for evening dining, and using a weather-resistant table runner or placemats can add a splash of colour or texture. Overall, it’s a practical yet stylish choice that can elevate your garden dining experience with minimal fuss.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
