The table has a naturally weather-resistant FSC-certified teak wood slatted top and cross base with a Lazy Susan at its centre. The rope-like design on the armchairs is handwoven with a high-quality, durable weave. All the rope materials have a polypropylene base or weave assuring the rope remains taut. The rope contains no hazardous materials and can be fully recycled at the end of its lifetime. The foam-filled seat and backrest cushions give you comfortable support and the covers are removable and machine-washable for easy cleaning. The sturdy chair frames and legs are made of powder-coated stainless steel. Our Stylist Says

The 4 Seasons Outdoor Bernini & Prado set offers a stylish yet practical option for blue-sky dining, blending FSC-certified teak with a modern, polished look. I love how versatile it is-perfect for contemporary gardens, patios, or even indoor conservatories that aim for a relaxed, natural vibe. The mix of natural teak and neutral fabric on the chairs makes it easy to style with cushions or outdoor textiles in both bold and subtle colours. For a cohesive look, pair it with greenery or planting to emphasise its organic feel, and don’t be afraid to introduce colourful tableware or lighting to make it stand out during evening gatherings. Its durable construction means it’ll age well over time, developing a lovely silver-grey patina if left untreated, adding to its charm.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
