I’m a fan of the Albano chair for its sleek aluminium frame and open-weave sides, which give it a light, airy feel without sacrificing comfort. The neutral cushion tones work equally well in a contemporary garden room, a minimalist urban terrace or a relaxed coastal living area, and the powder-coated legs mean it’s built to last outdoors.
For styling, pair two Albano chairs with a low teak-top coffee table and a textured jute rug to ground the space. Add cushions in muted pastels or deep greens to introduce subtle colour, and don’t be afraid to cluster a few potted plants around the seating for an easy indoor-outdoor transition. Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
