I’m a fan of this green velvet single bed with a winged headboard because the deep hue and soft texture instantly lift a small bedroom without overwhelming the space. It suits contemporary, mid-century and even Scandi-inspired interiors - simply layer neutral bedding, add a brass or black bedside lamp and introduce a contrasting cushion (mustard or terracotta work well) for a pop of warmth. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
