I’m a big fan of this natural-finish mid sleeper - it’s simple, sturdy and makes the most of a small floorplan. Its clean lines suit Scandi-inspired nurseries or modern children’s rooms, and the neutral pine allows you to introduce bolder colours through bedding, rugs and wall art. For styling, zone the space underneath as a reading nook or study area with a low shelf and pouffe, or tuck in woven baskets for toys. Add a string of fairy lights or a tension pole with hanging plants to soften the look, and choose a slip-on mattress cover in a patterned or textured fabric to bring in warmth and personality.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
