Designed by Matthew Hilton and created in Portugal by De La Espada's craftsmen, the Hastoe Windsor Chair is crafted using traditional techniques with an ash construction and walnut accents. Named after a neighbouring village of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, where the Windsor Chair was originally designed, the Hastoe Windsor Chair was designed to further evolve this iconic silhouette. Accented with a black walnut seat on a European ash frame finished with Danish oil, the Hastoe Windsor Chair is distinguished with a wedge tenon detail where the leg intersects with the top of the seat, awarding it classic construction, alongside a contemporary aesthetic.
