Description

30cm Laser Cut Easyfit Shade, Minty Blue

Our Stylist Says

I love this yoghurt blue shade for its calming and fresh feel, making it a versatile addition to various interiors. The laser cut design adds a subtle decorative element without overwhelming the space, perfect for modern, coastal, or Scandinavian-style rooms. It's particularly effective when paired with neutral or soft pastel colour palettes, creating a cohesive and relaxed atmosphere. Practical styling tips include using it in living rooms or bedrooms where a gentle, diffused light is desirable, or layering with other textured accessories to enhance its contemporary charm. Keep its clean lines and pendant style as a focal point, ensuring it doesn’t compete with bolder design features elsewhere in the room.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
