Description

Our new 30cm Laser Cut Shade adds a warm pop of colour to your home with a beautiful, Burnt Orange finish that stands out among any home décor as a great accent lighting feature. The simplistic, cylindrical design shade is adorned with an arrangement of laser cut diamonds, each allowing the light within to project out into your room, providing a warm glow and complimenting the orange tone perfectly.

Our Stylist Says

I love this ceiling light for its bold colour and modern midnight orange tone, which adds warmth and a touch of personality to any room. The laser-cut design offers subtle visual interest without overwhelming the space, making it a great feature in contemporary, eclectic, or even retro-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in kitchens, dining areas, or living rooms where a pop of colour can serve as a focal point. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or monochrome schemes to let the shade stand out, or complementing it with other burnt orange accents like cushions or throws for a coordinated look. Its straightforward fit makes it ideal for quick updates in both traditional and more contemporary settings.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
