Our Stylist Says
I particularly like these brown PU leather barstools for their blend of comfort and clean lines - the curved, hollow-back seat feels supportive without looking bulky, and the height-adjustable, 360° swivel base makes them highly practical for casual dining or entertaining at a kitchen island. The warm brown tone and black metal stem sit easily alongside raw-edge timber worktops, industrial-style lighting or a monochrome palette, adding just enough texture and contrast. For styling, keep the overall look light by pairing the stools with pale cabinetry or a white marble countertop, then layer in accessories such as a simple metal foot-rail rack below the island for cookbooks and a few potted herbs on the benchtop. A small leather-trimmed cushion or a neutral woven throw over the back can underscore the leather detail and tie the stools into softer, more relaxed living areas nearby.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
