Its simple cross-brace detailing suits industrial, modern farmhouse or Scandi schemes, and the bright finish works equally well in coastal or minimalist interiors. For styling, keep the top shelf clear of clutter: try a low table lamp or a shallow tray for keys by the door, plus a slimline mirror or framed print above. On the lower tier, tuck in neatly labelled baskets or a couple of oversized coffee-table books for storage and texture. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
