Description

A must for all the book lovers out there - let this bookshelf from HOMCOM let you show off your impressive collection with pride. Using thick particleboard for a structure that supports up to 80kg, the frame is crafted into a simple design, where eight differently sized and separate compartments are intertwined into each over for a unique look you will love for years to come. On the bottom, foot pads are placed to promote balance and protect your floor, whilst attachments can be found on the back to secure to the wall - keeping the unit safely in place to prevent it tipping over. A minimal design with maximum impact.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this tall light-wood shelving unit because its clean lines and neutral grain suit everything from Scandi-style flats to contemporary country kitchens. It’s slim enough to slot beside a desk or hearth without feeling cramped, yet tall enough to give you eight display tiers. For styling, mix books stacked both horizontally and vertically, then balance them with small potted plants, framed photos or a sculptural object. Leave a couple of compartments empty for breathing space and use a woven basket on the bottom shelf to hide cables or loose bits. In a living room, pull it away from the wall to showcase both sides; in a hallway, keep a single vase or candle on top to prevent clutter build-up.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
