K Mattress by The Conran Shop: a unique construction of luxurious fillings and micro-spring technology, handcrafted entirely in England using locally sourced raw materials that are then woven and blended by skilled craftspeople, with an innovative sixteen-thousand HD micro-pocket spring centre. Expertly crafted from British steel in-house at the Harrison Spinks factory in North Yorkshire, the innovative layer of sixteen-thousand ultra-fine wire micro-springs sits above the typical core spring unit and ensures more comfort than other mattresses of its kind. Working to correctly align your spine, the HD pressure-distributing springs create a base for balanced support while you sleep. The 16. K Mattress combines the innovation of micro-spring technology with natural materials and honest craftsmanship, finding harmony between naturally sourced fillings and the micro-spring epicentre. Specially designed to include hemp naturally grown without pesticides, British wool, Egyptian cotton, mohair and Horsehair, the materials create the 100% natural filling pads for the sleeping surface of the mattress, resting above the springs. The 16. K Mattress is then finished with fabric woven on Harrison Spinks' very own looms. Natural fillings help to regulate the body temperature by drawing moisture away from the body, preventing over-heating during sleep. The 16. K Mattress uses hemp specifically for its temperature-regulating, absorbent and naturally resistant qualities, keeping the bed fresh and hygienic. The 16. K mattress also features British wool for resilience and hypoallergenic properties, Egyptian cotton for breathability, mohair which is durable yet beautifully soft and Horsehair to lend a natural spring. A unique layering of British steel micro-springs and natural materials woven and blended on a farm in North Yorkshire, the 16. K mattress offers unrivalled comfort and is available with firm or medium tension. Available in Single, Double, King, Super King and European sizes, with a choice of firm or medium tension.
